About HLRZ

What is HLRZ?

HLRZ is spiritual streetwear from New York. Each volume honors one sacred tradition through original art, worn with reverence. We begin with Volume I: The Orishas of the Yoruba tradition. Our roots are African and Caribbean, and our pieces are made for anyone who carries the sacred with them.

How do you pronounce HLRZ?

HLRZ is pronounced "healers." Our tagline, Wear the Divine, is also our home online at wearthedivine.com.

Is HLRZ only Orisha designs?

No. The Orishas are where we begin, not where we end. HLRZ grows volume by volume, each one honoring a different sacred tradition in depth. Coming next is Volume II: Sacred Animals, with more traditions to follow.

What do the Eye of Horus and cowrie shell in your logo mean?

The Eye of Horus stands in for the R in HLRZ. From ancient Kemet, it symbolizes protection and healing. The cowrie shell was sacred currency and adornment across West Africa, carrying prosperity and spiritual power. Together they bridge the motherland and the diaspora: every spirituality that has adorned our people, worn as one.

Where is HLRZ made?

Designed in New York and printed to order by our production partner Tapstitch, a premium print-on-demand studio. Every piece is made only after you order it.

What makes HLRZ sustainable?

Each piece is printed only after you order it, so nothing is mass-produced and there's no unsold inventory going to waste.

The Orishas

What is Orisha streetwear?

Clothing carrying the symbols and stories of the Orishas, the deities of Yoruba spirituality. Our first drop, Volume I: The Orishas, honors the full pantheon together, from Oshun of love and abundance to Oya of wind and change.

Who are the Orishas?

The Orishas are the divine forces of Yoruba spirituality, born in what is now Nigeria and carried across the diaspora to Cuba, Brazil, Trinidad, Haiti and beyond. Each one governs a part of life and nature: Oshun the sweet waters and love, Yemaya the ocean and motherhood, Shango thunder and justice, Oya the winds and change. Meet them all in Volume I: The Orishas.

How do I find my Orisha?

In the tradition, your guardian Orisha is revealed through divination with a priest or priestess. For a lighter start, take our Find Your Orisha quiz to see which energy you're drawn to, then read their story on their collection page.

Do I need to practice a tradition to wear HLRZ?

No. Every design is made with respect for its tradition's meaning, colors, and symbols, and each product page shares the story behind it. Whether you practice, are reconnecting with your roots, or simply feel drawn to the sacred, HLRZ is for you. We ask only that you wear it with respect. These are living traditions, and every piece is designed to honor them, never to costume them.

Orders & Shipping

How long until my order arrives?

Each piece is printed after you order, so please allow 3 to 7 business days for production plus shipping time. You'll get tracking as soon as it ships. See our shipping policy for full details.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination and are shown at checkout. Any customs duties or import fees depend on your country's rules.

What is your return policy?

Every piece is printed to order, so all sales are final for size, color, or change of mind. If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or wrong, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we'll send a free replacement or refund. See our refund policy for full details.

Sizing & Care

How does sizing run?

Our pieces are streetwear fit, so check the size chart on each product page. Between sizes? Size up for the oversized look.

How should I care for my HLRZ piece?

Turn it inside out, wash cold, and tumble dry low or hang to dry. Skip bleach, and never iron directly on the print. Treated gently, your art stays bold for years.
